My hotel room was brand-new and impressive with a fireplace. The location for Pequot Lakes was favourable, so close to good restaurants and entertainment for all ages as well as northern Minnesota. Actually everything was brand-new, my next choice again in Pequot Lakes.

The hotel had a cozy and rustic Northwoods decor, feel cute and homey. My room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a nice sitting area. The outdoor fire pit added a great touch for relaxation after a long day of exploring the area.
The breakfast options were a bit limited.

I enjoyed a relaxing time here, especially after getting a surprise upgrade to a whirlpool suite which was just what I needed after a long drive. The well-kept gardens provided a beautiful backdrop, and I loved soaking in the jacuzzi to unwind. The breakfast was decent but could have had a bit more variety. Nonetheless, I'd recommend checking out the pool area for a nice break 😊

The place is clean and has a friendly atmosphere. We loved the pool area and also enjoyed the hot tub after a long day. Breakfast was the usual fare with eggs and sausage. Rooms had plenty of space for family activities like games. Outdoor amenities include a fire pit and playground which are great for kids.

The experience soured on our last night when the front desk clerk abruptly removed us from the pool area, despite other guests, including her family, remaining in the water. This inconsistency in treatment felt unprofessional, especially given the high cost of our stay. On a brighter note, we enjoyed the homemade preserves at breakfast. The rude manner in which we were treated overshadowed these positives.

We loved the easy access to the Paul Bunyan Trail and enjoyed some hiking. The clean rooms and cozy feel. Plus, the area has tons of snowmobile and ATV trails. Perfect spot for adventure and relaxation.
The breakfast could really use some work. It wasn't great and felt a bit old.
